An ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) is an unmanned subsea vehicle, remotely controlled from a vessel or an offshore platform. It is equipped with manipulator arms that enable it to perform very complex underwater operations. This allows some underwater projects to be performed more safely and economically.

Northern Divers (Eng) Ltd provides this service as an alternative, and addition, to conventional manned diving operations we provide. ROVs have proven beneficial in performing deep sea pipeline inspections and repair operations.

Our ROV can be rapidly transported and easily deployed from a small vessel or from the shoreside. In addition, sonar and still camera photos can be provided to help on specialist jobs, such as salvage, hydro surveys and the documentation and recovery of hazardous materials.

Operated by our experienced staff, ROV services are available for planned projects as well as for emergency response wherever the need arises.
